Biography

War beneath the Starry Sky

As war approaches, Siyuan shifts from guarding the Hall of Subjugation to the politically vital task of preaching across the provinces and counties, reinforcing the Orthodoxy's unity behind Chen. His earlier faction had used public contests to pressure the Orthodox Academy, but settled succession now makes mobilization more important than rivalry. He supplies the cinnabar brush when Chen marks Mu Jiushi for punishment, helps inspect Mount Han's ruined array, and continues coordinating with Linghai Zhiwang and An Lin through the final campaign, turning a former papal contender into an active servant of the new Pope's war policy. (Chapters 1043, 1051–1099, 1156, 1161, and 1179)

Appearance and personality

Siyuan is often severe, skeptical, and openly dismissive of claims he finds exaggerated. His dark, penetrating gaze and readiness to challenge conclusions contrast with his eventual discipline under Chen's authority. (Chapters 512–514, 655–673, and 1161)

Abilities and cultivation

He is a peak Star Condensation expert entrusted with a major Orthodox hall treasure and skilled in divine arts and formations. Siyuan can contribute powerful Qi to large arrays and assess damaged ritual structures, but the corpus does not record him crossing into the Divine Domain. (Chapters 803–804, 1023, 1070, and 1156)
