Biography

Lightning wielder in the bloodbath

Torash enters the secret-plane bloodbath as an elite level 3 acolyte of Whitewoods Castle, already reputed strongly enough to be compared with Silver-Claw Saurun. He treats weaker participants as prey and demands that an apparently level 1 Leylin Farlier kneel rather than considering him a serious threat. A wide-area frost scroll removes a Knight's speed advantage, while Torash's personalised lightning spell lets him overwhelm Jayden, scorch through defensive vines, and dominate the encounter. (Chapters 92–93)

His confidence is supported by real power and by an official-Magus professor who has invested heavily in him. It also blinds him to concealed strength. Leylin's Fallen Star Pendant absorbs Torash's nine-degree lightning attack, exposing the defensive artifact only after the spell fails, and Leylin then reveals his own level 3 energy. Torash recognises the reversal and tries to escape rather than fighting blindly. (Chapters 93–94)

Countered and killed

Leylin's modified Cloud of Afterlife is deliberately tuned to corrode the energy particles most compatible with lightning. It contaminates Torash through his own attack path, covers him in abscesses, and subjects him to the same prolonged suffering he had intended for his captives. Torash's last resort is to destroy his electrical Magic Artifact and release a sixteen-degree attack, but the sacrifice does not save him. His death convinces other elite acolytes that Leylin is much stronger than his public identity suggests. (Chapters 94–97)

Torash's backers have prepared for precisely such an outcome. A hidden spiritual-force coordinate continues pulsing inside the ruined artifact, allowing his professor to search for the killer. Leylin detects and discards the remains before leaving the plane, while outside assumptions place responsibility on Jayden. Torash therefore fails to win personally, but the protection attached to his equipment continues shaping danger after his death. (Chapters 97–104)

Appearance and personality

Torash has black hair, cunning eyes, leather shoes, and an arrogant manner. He is cruel and theatrical with people he believes are weaker, offering false mercy in exchange for humiliation and torturing Jayden after victory. His behaviour becomes pragmatic once Leylin reveals equal rank and a counter to lightning: he immediately runs, showing that pride does not erase self-preservation. (Chapters 92–94)

Magic, bloodline, and abilities

Elite level 3 acolyte

Torash is one of the bloodbath's strongest level 3 acolytes, with combat reputation close to Saurun's. His professor has tailored a spell to his elemental affinity and supplied costly consumables and an artifact, making his power partly the result of factional investment. He remains an acolyte: a prepared peer with superior defence and an elemental counter can still kill him. (Chapters 93 and 95–98)

Personalised lightning

Torash launches lightning rapidly from his body, channels it along conductive weapons, and uses a thick bolt to burn through Jayden's vines. The personalised attack reaches at least nine degrees, enough to put an unprotected acolyte in mortal danger. Leylin's fifteen-degree Fallen Star defence negates it until the pendant's reserve is depleted, while the modified Cloud of Afterlife uses lightning-compatible particles to spread corrosion back toward Torash. Speed and elemental affinity therefore make the spell lethal against ordinary opponents but especially vulnerable to a designed counter. (Chapters 93–94)

Frost-domain scroll

A consumed scroll covers several hundred metres in frost and lowers Leylin's speed by an estimated forty-three percent. Torash can vary the cold directed at different targets, allowing him to neutralise a Knight's principal advantage while sparing captives from the worst temperature. The effect comes from the scroll rather than an established innate ice affinity and is not shown being used twice. (Chapter 92)

Artifact self-destruction

When defeat becomes unavoidable, Torash destroys his electrical Magic Artifact to release a sixteen-degree final attack. This exceeds his ordinary spell output but permanently sacrifices the artifact and still fails to reverse the battle. A separate hidden spiritual-force coordinate in the wreckage continues broadcasting for his professor, making the item both a weapon and post-mortem tracking mechanism. (Chapters 97–98)
