Biography
Battle at the Scarlet Crescent entrance
Siebel guards a Jupiter's Lightning stronghold when Leylin Farlier attacks. He floods the battlefield with his Ocean domain and assumes his enormous marine body, expecting the water-rich environment to suppress the intruder while reinforcing his own spells. Leylin nevertheless overpowers him and redirects the clash into the Scarlet Crescent entrance, opening the ruins ahead of schedule. Siebel follows through the spatial passage because the prospect of ancient treasures outweighs the warning contained in that defeat. (Chapters 523–526)
Greed inside the ruins
Inside Scarlet Crescent, Siebel smashes open laboratories and gathers valuable materials rather than studying their protections. One defence formation identifies his water affinity and absorbs Ocean Crash instead of resisting it directly. The formation compresses the captured power into a point-mass attack and returns his own force against him, breaking his body and defensive shell. Its curse then follows the soul connection to the distant deity egg containing his blood, flesh, and soul, eliminating the rebirth route as well. Leylin later uses Siebel's blood and identity as a disguise. (Chapters 531–532)
Appearance and personality
Siebel normally adopts a humanoid appearance, but his true body is a thousand-metre marine giant with a bull's head, human torso, and tentacles instead of feet. He is proud, combative, and increasingly reckless when confronted by treasure.
Magic, bloodline, and abilities
Ocean domain
Siebel's water-element domain converts the surrounding battlefield into an oceanic environment favorable to a marine Magus. Vast quantities of water answer him, while gigantic water hands carry enough force to destabilize nearby space. The domain gives him environmental leverage and broad attack coverage, but it can be contested by another Morning Star's domain and does not protect him from a technique designed to absorb water-attributed power. (Chapters 524 and 531)
Marine body and Ocean Crash
His true form is a thousand-metre marine giant with a bull's head, human torso, and tentacles, supplying the vitality and physical scale expected of a Morning Star creature. Ocean Crash is his Morning Star Arcane Art: it manifests a massive magical sea populated by images of ancient ocean life and releases enough force to destroy a laboratory. That immense, concentrated output becomes a liability in Scarlet Crescent, where a prepared formation captures the spell and turns its power back on its caster. (Chapters 524 and 531)
Rebirth vessel and equipment
The marine deity egg stores portions of Siebel's blood, flesh, and soul away from his main body. If he dies, it can restore him and allow him to retrain toward Morning Star, making it a remote survival vessel rather than regeneration performed by his body. Because the egg remains linked to his soul, Scarlet Crescent's curse reaches and destroys it after killing him. His shell-like defence and communication ring are likewise external equipment; they support survival and coordination but are not innate marine abilities. (Chapters 523 and 531)
