Service on the road

Leylin Farlier acquires two unnamed Knights while establishing a mortal identity on the south coast. He names the larger one Greem and the other Fraser, making the loss of Fraser's former identity part of his new household role. Fraser immediately serves as a practical escort: he defeats bandits blocking the carriage, helps navigate with the group's map, and guards the vehicle and luggage while Leylin hires workers in Roran City. (Chapters 53–55)

Guard and intelligence agent

After the household settles in Extreme Night City, Fraser and Greem guard the rooms around Leylin's bedroom and laboratory. Fraser also supervises the mortal side of Leylin's intelligence gathering. He sends scouts into the withering woods, accepts casualties to obtain descriptions of the attacking creature, and reports the observations accurately enough for Leylin to compare them with magical-species records. Fraser's contribution is logistics and human intelligence rather than independent magical analysis. (Chapters 57–61)

Leylin later redirects the establishment's money and personnel toward Hove Violet Leaves needed for a modified potion. Fraser travels to nearby cities and keeps purchasing the ingredient while the medicine business supplies funds. This work helps Leylin sustain repeated brewing attempts even though the potion's low success rate consumes leaves quickly. Fraser is last shown as one of the armored Knights supporting Anna's authority when Leylin prepares to leave his worldly estate behind. (Chapters 62–80)

Appearance and personality

Fraser is a trained Knight who looks imposing in leather armor. His personal history and inner thoughts are not provided. In action he is deferential, concise, and dependable: he resolves roadside violence without drama, accepts guard duty, and reports the costs and limits of his scouts rather than exaggerating success. (Chapters 53–61 and 78–79)

Magic, bloodline, and abilities

Knight conditioning

Fraser has the enhanced physique and weapon training of a mortal Knight. He can defeat a group of ordinary bandits alone and serve as an intimidating armed guard, but the corpus gives him no secret technique, Grand Knight breakthrough, spellcasting, or bloodline ability. His strength therefore supports security against mundane threats and should not be treated as protection against Magi or magical creatures. (Chapters 53–55 and 78–79)

Scouting and procurement

His most consequential capability is operational rather than supernatural. Fraser dispatches and questions scouts, consolidates creature descriptions, guards supplies, and travels between cities to buy scarce potion ingredients. These tasks extend Leylin's reach while the acolyte remains in his laboratory. They depend on household funds and subordinate personnel, and the withering-woods investigation costs one scout's life and seriously injures two others before producing useful information. (Chapters 60–63 and 71)
