Biography

Wartime authority

Faisal is the Grand Elder's first disciple and a long-serving powerholder in the Ouroboros Clan. When its three Morning Star elders disappear, he uses the emergency to claim a coordinating role, assigns defence zones, and attempts to bring the families' tower genies under central control. His ambition creates friction with Freya and Leylin Farlier, and he activates the combined barrier early enough for the enemy to measure its range and cost. Even so, he restrains impulsive defenders, deploys alchemised puppets, and continues managing the siege rather than abandoning the headquarters. (Chapters 495–498)

Loyalty under siege

An enemy envoy offers Faisal safety in exchange for betrayal. Faisal pretends to waver while his people expose the internal conspiracy, capturing seven traitors and killing twelve. He then destroys the envoy's spirit projection with blue electricity and sends disordered data through the link to injure its main body's sea of consciousness. Faisal admits that he wants to control the clan, but refuses to let it be destroyed because it is his family and the foundation of the Giant Kemoyin Serpent bloodline. (Chapters 499–500)

Facing a Morning Star warbeast, Faisal obtains the legally required approval of two-thirds of the council and activates the two peak-rank-3 Kemoyin Gargoyles. Their merger becomes the Morning Star-strength Duo Serpent Annihilator, but it consumes 67 percent of the headquarters' stored tower energy after one day. When Demon Hunter Cyril's domain suppresses even Crystal Phase Magi, Faisal is left helpless; Leylin's advancement and intervention decide the battle. (Chapters 500–504)

Service under Leylin

Once Leylin becomes the clan's dominant Morning Star, Faisal is the quickest senior figure to submit. He reports the loyalty of fifty-seven marquises, ceremonially presents the clan's ducal sceptre, and becomes an administrator Leylin relies upon. Faisal coordinates old-family contributions and outside craftsmen for Leylin's Magus Tower, transfers workers away from its dangerous night-time radiation, and helps Freya and Parker manage headquarters in Leylin's absence. When the First Elder's spiritual flame goes out, he reports the death and restrains another grieving Warlock from accusing Schadt without proof. (Chapters 507–541)

Appearance and personality

Faisal is an aged Warlock more than six centuries old. He is ambitious, politically calculating, and prone to grasping authority even during a crisis, but his loyalty to the clan places a firm boundary on that ambition. He can recognise traps and manage institutional resources, yet he also makes costly decisions under pressure. After Leylin's rise, caution and ingratiating humility replace his earlier assertiveness. Magic, bloodline, and abilities

• Crystal Phase Warlock: Faisal is a senior rank 3 Giant Kemoyin Serpent Warlock. His direct combat showing includes seizing a spirit projection at high speed and destroying it with blue electricity; the data feedback is intended to inflict irreversible damage on the remote caster's sea of consciousness. (Chapter 500)
• Command and formation use: Faisal understands the headquarters' combined barriers, tower-energy reserves, alchemised puppets, and emergency authorisation procedures. These are clan systems operated through distributed towers and council permissions, not personal spells he can deploy alone. (Chapters 496–501)
• Duo Serpent Annihilator: Faisal can order its activation only after two-thirds of the council authorises the two Kemoyin Gargoyles. The merged puppet reaches Morning Star combat strength by drawing on the Magus Towers' stored energy; it consumes 67 percent after one day and reverts when the supply ends. (Chapters 500–501)
• Rank limit: Faisal remains a lower-ranked being before a Morning Star domain. Cyril's field halves elemental gathering, obstructs spiritual-force activation, and leaves Crystal Phase defenders such as Faisal unable to reverse the battle. (Chapter 501)

• Leylin Farlier: Initially a political rival, later the great elder Faisal serves.
• Freya: A high-ranking Warlock who blocks his efforts to control Leylin's territory.
• Schadt: A senior clan figure with whom Faisal coordinates wartime decisions.

Items

• Snake-shaped sceptre: A jet-black-crystal clan insignia that Faisal ceremonially presents to Leylin at the latter's ducal accession. It is institutional regalia, not Faisal's personal combat equipment. (Chapter 510)
• Secret imprint: A communication mark Faisal uses to report urgent clan matters. Its range is limited, and such transmissions can be intercepted or traced. (Chapters 513 and 541)
