Biography

Life at Abyssal Bone Forest

Bicky welcomes Leylin Farlier to Kroft's laboratory and guides him through the academy's facilities, classes, fees, and restrictions. She comes from the declining Tyler Magus Family, whose resources support her education in hopes that she can restore its line of official Magi. Her position gives her regional market intelligence and a monthly resource allowance, but not the protection enjoyed by the academy's three great families. (Chapters 23–28, 38–47)

Her aptitude is adequate but her progress is slow: she remains Level 1 after a year and reaches Level 2 only after diverting part of her own resources toward Fayle. She trains in elementary Potioneering and supports Leylin's first successes, while openly acknowledging Merlin as Kroft's exceptional student. This willingness to celebrate others makes her a generous friend, but also leaves her vulnerable to measuring her own worth through someone she admires. (Chapters 23–38)

Bicky's infatuation with Fayle begins before she speaks to him. She excuses his distance as dedication, gives him magic crystals and supplies, and eventually believes his offer of a relationship. Leylin recognizes the vanity beneath Fayle's charm but does not challenge Bicky's happiness directly. Her emotional loyalty consequently deepens without any corresponding evidence that Fayle values her beyond the resources she can provide. (Chapters 23–28, 86–88, 120–128)

The academy bloodbath

After several years apart, Bicky tells Leylin that Fayle has accepted her as his girlfriend. She enters the inter-academy bloodbath as a Level 2 acolyte carrying attack potions Leylin supplied. When Torash corners Bicky and another student, a disguised Leylin intervenes. He uses his own spells, defensive potion, and artifact to protect them, so Bicky's survival is not evidence that she can match Torash; her contribution is to remain mobile, pull companions from danger, and administer a restorative potion to the unconscious Jayden before leaving. Fayle later reveals that his apparent devotion was a resource strategy. After securing Grine Water through the bloodbath, he persuades Bicky to steal her family's Rainbow Potion by promising that they will elope. The potion can raise Grine Water's official-Magus advancement success rate, making it the Tyler Family's best remaining chance to restore its status. Fayle takes it, abandons Bicky, and joins the stronger Redbud Flower Family. (Chapters 120–128)

The Tyler Family captures Bicky and prepares to destroy the spiritual-force source in her sea of consciousness as punishment. Kroft's academy contract bars him from intervening in a subordinate family's internal affairs. Leylin first delays the trial with a promise of compensation, then returns as an official Magus and exchanges Grine Water for her pardon. The bargain replaces an enhancement worth at most about twenty percent additional success with the rarer core advancement resource, giving the family a rational reason to spare her. When Bicky considers becoming his follower, Leylin refuses because he judges Level 3 to be the likely ceiling of her aptitude and needs stronger subordinates. He quietly extracts a gray-black foreign influence from her body, gives her modified Azure Potions, and leaves without explaining either action fully. Rescue preserves her cultivation and freedom, but does not repair her trust or determine what she will do with the advancement aid. (Chapters 125–126)

Disappearance

Bicky refuses to return to the academy immediately. She plans to travel and perhaps rejoin her family later, choosing distance from both the institution where Fayle cultivated her trust and the household that imprisoned her. Her calm recognition that Fayle may already be an official Magus replaces the romantic certainty with which she once defended him. (Chapter 126)

More than a century later, investigators find no reliable trace of Bicky. Leylin hears enough to conclude that the betrayal changed her fundamentally and that whatever followed required perseverance he had not expected from her earlier personality. The corpus does not identify her destination, rank, revenge, or death, so her disappearance cannot be converted into a definite later achievement. (Chapters 679–681, 1053)

Appearance and personality

Bicky is introduced as a beautiful girl with a pleasing voice and lively manner. As she matures, she retains an easy smile and playful energy around friends. Captivity leaves her exhausted, with wet hair, dark circles, and a dazed expression when Leylin arrives. (Chapters 23, 37, 86, 125–126)

She is warm, sociable, and generous, but naïve in romance. Her loyalty to Fayle blinds her to a pattern of resource extraction that friends can see from outside. After his betrayal she becomes subdued, rejects an immediate return to familiar institutions, and later develops an unexpected resolve. The narrative confirms the change in character more clearly than it confirms what she ultimately accomplishes with it. (Chapters 27–28, 86, 120–126, 681)

Magic, bloodline, and abilities

Level 2 acolyte cultivation

Bicky forms the mind runes required for Level 2 and can therefore maintain magical power and cast Rank 0 spells. Her advancement is slower than her aptitude should allow because she diverts family resources to Fayle. Leylin estimates that without an unusual opportunity she may reach Level 3 but lacks the aptitude and resources to make official-Magus advancement likely. The corpus records no later rank. Elementary Potioneering

Under Kroft, Bicky learns laboratory cleanliness, ingredient handling, recipe procedure, and the foundations required to enter the academy's Potioneering competition. She survives until the third round, then is eliminated when the tests reach beginner potion brewing. This places her above an untrained acolyte but well below Merlin, Leylin, or Kroft; she never demonstrates independent formula research or Master-level success rates. (Chapters 23–28, 86–87)

Combat potions and field medicine

Leylin gives Bicky attack potions before the bloodbath, providing consumable offense without changing her cultivation. She also carries practical restorative medicine and pours a potion over Jayden to revive him after Torash's defeat. Potions are finite supplies whose effects come from the brewer and formula; possessing them does not establish that Bicky can reproduce every potion she uses. (Chapters 88–98)

Modified Azure Potions

The modified Azure Potion raises an acolyte's spiritual force and can help cross the Level 2-to-Level 3 cultivation gap. Repeated doses create bodily resistance until further use has no effect, and the substitute formula's results were modeled around Leylin rather than universally guaranteed. Bicky receives several doses after her pardon, but the corpus never confirms how many she takes or whether they carry her to Level 3. (Chapters 60–78, 102, 126)

Family intelligence and resource access

As a Tyler heir, Bicky knows regional Magus markets, travel risks, and family resource channels. The same position gives her access to the Rainbow Potion, but not legitimate authority to remove it. Family assets amplify opportunity while also binding her to laws severe enough to threaten her sea of consciousness when she betrays that trust. (Chapters 28, 38–47, 120–126)

Unidentified removed influence

Before leaving Tyler Fort, Leylin covertly draws a gray-black gas from Bicky's body. The scene confirms a foreign influence but does not name its caster, mechanism, or exact effect. It should therefore be treated as something removed from her, not as a mastered ability or proof that every choice she made resulted from magical control. (Chapter 126)
