Death Seed

History

Damien and Xue Ruyue attend the hidden auction to keep the Death Seed from wicked-path leaders. Investigation reveals that the supposed pill is a curled living creature associated with devil-worshipping Inheritors and stronger access to the Nox. Zara nevertheless insists on taking the dangerous seed into herself, turning an enemy control mechanism into a bloodline crisis and, after survival and later training, a source of evolution. Properties and use

The Death Seed carries a weak but unmistakable life aura and attempts to escape its vial. It can enter and alter a host, which makes custody and consent central to its use. The article treats it as a living entity presented as treasure, not as an inert consumable or as proof that Zara becomes anyone’s property. (Chapters 189, 191–204, 608–609)
