Su Ren

Su Ren, titled the Blade God, is a wandering dual-blade practitioner and one of Damien Void's closest friends. Raised by a reclusive thief after sects fought over his talent, he earns the Dimensional Leaderboard's first rank through independent training before the Saint King defeats and permanently curses him. His self-created grey mana severs targets from energies and environments, and at Godhood he partners with Long Chen to cut open the defenses of Grand Dukes.

Biography

Blade God meets Damien

Su Ren enters the Holy Light Realm seeking worthy opponents rather than treasure or faction advantage. He introduces himself without arrogance or submission and challenges Damien to a duel that quickly exceeds what the realm can safely contain. Their blade and spacetime manifestations do not merely collide; they form a harmonious vision that gives both men a premature glimpse of Divinity. The shared insight establishes respect more securely than victory could, and Su Ren reintroduces himself as the unaffiliated Blade God before offering friendship. (Chapters 983–987)

The fallen number one

Su Ren's reputation predates his first on-page battle. Kidnapped repeatedly because of his talent, he is eventually raised by an infamous thief whose distance from ordinary institutions encourages an independent practitioner's mindset. He reaches the Dimensional Leaderboard's first position by sixty and holds it for a decade. Bai Yumo becomes the first peer who can truly match him, but their respect collapses when the Saint King abandons a fair contest, leaves corrupting mana inside Su Ren, and steals the ranking through a wound even Su Ren's master cannot cure. Holy Light protector and chosen family

After their duel, Su Ren prioritizes Xiao Yue, an orphan he rescued and placed with a trustworthy sect. He comforts her during the fire calamity, helps her search for opportunities, and later leads stranded geniuses against Nox Worshippers rather than pursuing private advantage. This protective side does not contradict his hunger for battle. It gives that hunger a boundary: Su Ren will seek an equal enthusiastically, but he also calculates whether weaker companions have enough vitality and mana before committing them to danger. At the Grand Assembly, Su Ren accepts a rematch with Bai Yumo while already knowing the old corruption remains in his chest. He is direct, disciplined, and most animated by a worthy fight. Su Ren neither flatters stronger figures nor humiliates weaker ones, and his independent worldview makes Bai Yumo's submission to the Saint Emperor initially incomprehensible. Experience tempers the arrogance of his early number-one rank. Xiao Yue can reduce the imposing Blade God to embarrassed explanation, while Damien and Long Chen draw him into teasing friendships that survive vast rank changes. Grey mana and blade intent

Su Ren creates his own grey mana by taking weapon intent to a level where it functions as a unique Law. It suppresses spatial ruptures, prevents regeneration and similar recovery, invades terrain through residual blade scars, and cuts him away from the dimension so he can remain active in environments where ordinary vitality cannot persist. These effects arise from severance rather than brute elemental opposition. The old Saint King corruption permanently alters this mana's growth. Much of its spiritual specialization exists because it must suppress the foreign force embedded in Su Ren's chest and prevent crippling spread. This adaptation preserves him and retains external anti-spirit advantages, but it is not a cure; Bai Yumo can excite the curse and force Su Ren out of combat. At Godhood, Su Ren's path aims to cut any energy rather than merely sharpen a physical blade. This is a specialized conceptual advantage rather than universal Supreme-God strength.
