Melania Achen is a brown-haired earth dragon who enters the heir wars to support her impoverished family, becomes Damien Void's half-disciple, and inherits a recreation of the Mountain God Draga's lost lineage. Biography

Qualification, family necessity, and a favor repaid

Melania first meets August as the only other candidate to withstand the qualification trial's draconic pressure. She is an earth dragon whose stable stance lets her endure, but the following illusion exposes her inexperience with real violence: repeated simulated deaths nearly break her before she forces herself to act and barely passes. Her motivation is concrete rather than ceremonial. A sick mother, two younger siblings, and a deceased father have left the family without enough money for treatment, so the heir wars are her route to sponsorship and security. After Melania gives a stranded August shelter, he leaves an unbound spatial ring and enough gold to cure her mother and move the family somewhere safer. The gift removes her immediate financial crisis but does not end her ambition. She refuses to treat it as charity without consequence, seeks August out, and offers lifelong repayment; he asks only for friendship. Their shared respect lets her redirect the heir wars from desperate income toward personal growth, while her practical study of maps and trades makes her a key problem-solver in his search through Fort Halleya. Damien's trial and the lineage of Draga

Inside Damien's hidden trial, Melania pushes a boulder up a mountain for a subjective two years. Her memories and ego are constrained, yet the persistence is her own: she repeatedly fails, dies, returns, and continues until reaching the peak. Damien restores her memories and refuses to hand her finished power. Instead, he grants potential by recreating the bloodline of Draga, the forgotten Mountain God, complete with ancestral memories and techniques. The lineage does not predetermine her path. Draga's mana-hardened physical method ultimately cost him fertility, and Melania learns that following it fully requires a conscious choice. Her broader human-form features and exact dragon form are not described in enough detail for a reliable reconstruction. Combat and hardship visibly mark her later appearances: she returns from Fort Halleya with hands and face stained by blood, and poison turns her skin green with black lines until August's artifact cleanses it and restores its normal luster.
