Droyan

Droyan is the Dragon God, Second Seat among the Divine Thrones, and ruler of the Second Site, Naraka. Their theatrical fixation on the pillow Doll Mimi Nya masks a sharp divine ruler and one of the Abyss's strongest destructive powers, Black Flame Dragon. A long rivalry with Ignis becomes a final alliance when both gods resist Rift and repeatedly kill Buddha. (Chapters 123–136, 210–226)

Biography

Metaverse spectator and rival

Droyan enters Rene's audience as a curious viewer, then attends Ignis's Sacred Hall meeting through a flamboyant Vicegerent while speaking constantly to Mimi Nya. The Dragon God teases Ignis about supporting Jaehwan and proposes taking the Awakened One, provoking their old competition for Followers and over whether Black Flame Dragon or Crimson Flame Tribulation is stronger. Despite the foolish performance, Droyan asks for evidence, understands the balance among Divine Thrones, and participates seriously in judging Chronos's interference. (Chapters 123, 129, 135–136)

Droyan continues watching Jaehwan's battles, shows particular interest in dragons, and reacts when Chronos descends into Eoduksi. These appearances remain observational rather than direct aid, but they establish Droyan as attentive to the shift in power created by the God Slayer. The god's rivalry with Ignis never disappears; it becomes the basis for coordination because each knows the other's representative Setting and fighting temperament. (Chapters 147–168)

Defense of Naraka and annihilation

As Rift conquers the Sites, Droyan returns to Naraka and proves difficult enough that the First and Second Division Commanders are deployed. After a week of fighting Buddha, Droyan is battered but still joins Ignis and Karavan. Black Flame Dragon combines with Crimson Flame Tribulation to destroy Buddha's body, exhausting Droyan's World Power and causing the Vicegerent vessel to collapse in tears while clutching Mimi Nya. (Chapters 174, 197, 210, 221–222)

Buddha's Reincarnation reverses the victory. The reborn god's palms strike Droyan's already exhausted Vicegerent, and the fading World Power is absorbed into the new body. The struggle continues long enough that Buddha dies 1,412 more times against Droyan and Ignis, but Rift ultimately recovers the Divine Thrones' power. Reports later confirm Droyan's annihilation, distinguishing the god's final death from the earlier loss of a vessel or an apparent kill undone by Reincarnation. (Chapters 222, 225–226)

Appearance and personality

The body associated with Droyan has smoky makeup, one red eye visible beneath a black eyepatch, an open black vest, dragon tattoos on both arms, spiked fingerless gloves, and a large pillow Doll strapped to the back. The text later identifies the collapsing body as Droyan's final Vicegerent, so these are the vessel's features rather than a confirmed true divine form. (Chapters 135, 221–222)

Droyan deliberately performs as an eccentric, speaking through repeated “Mimi Nya” phrases and letting the pillow produce childish speech bubbles. Beneath that display they are perceptive, competitive, and courageous enough to return to a hopeless fight. Their tears after the combined attack and concern for Mimi Nya expose sincere emotion beneath the theatrical bravado. (Chapters 135–136, 221–222)

Powers and limitations

• Divine Throne and descent: Droyan rules Naraka and possesses World Power at the level of the Eight Divine Thrones, sent into battle through a Vicegerent. The link lets the god speak directly and drive representative power through the vessel, but the vessel can be exhausted and destroyed; losing the final Vicegerent leaves Droyan vulnerable during Rift's prolonged attack. (Chapters 135–136, 210–226)

• Black Flame Dragon: Droyan's representative Setting manifests an enormous living black dragon and is called one of the Abyss's strongest powers in raw destruction. It can endure Ignis's Crimson Flame Tribulation and combine with that fire to accelerate a strike that annihilates Buddha. The technique consumes enormous World Power, leaves Droyan's vessel collapsed, and cannot permanently defeat Reincarnation. (Chapters 136, 210, 221–222)

• Mimi Nya communication: Droyan speaks to and through the pillow Doll Mimi Nya, whose drawings change expression and produce speech bubbles. The corpus does not explain whether this is a Setting, a separate Doll consciousness, or a communication habit, so it should not be treated as an independent combat ability. Relationships

• Ignis: Droyan and Ignis compete for Followers and argue over which flame Setting is supreme. Their familiar hostility becomes effective cooperation against Buddha, with each combining representative power in a final defense of the Sites. (Chapters 135–136, 221–226)

• Buddha: Buddha leads Rift's assault on Naraka and becomes Droyan's final opponent. Droyan helps kill Buddha once and, together with Ignis, forces 1,412 reincarnations, but Reincarnation and Rift's resources eventually outlast both Divine Thrones. (Chapters 210, 221–226)

• Jaehwan: Droyan watches Jaehwan's Metaverse campaign and briefly discusses taking him as a Follower or Vicegerent. Unlike Ignis, Droyan never develops a direct alliance with him in the supplied scenes; their interest remains that of a powerful viewer observing a changing Abyss. (Chapters 129, 136, 147–168)

• Chronos: Droyan joins the Sacred Hall consideration of Chronos's breach, watches Chronos's Metaverse descent, and asks what happened after Catastrophe expels it. Their relationship is political rather than intimate, shaped by membership in the same Divine Throne order. (Chapters 136, 166–168)
