Claire

Claire is Mino's last surviving companion from Arcal, a tavern keeper who becomes Gorgon's Finance Horn Lord and one of the principal organizers of the society built around Jaehwan's reforms.

Biography

From Arcal survivor to Gorgon's finance leader

Claire shelters Mino in her tavern and is taken hostage when Geumcheon tries to force the injured Adapter into surrender. After Jaehwan intervenes, Claire helps nurse Mino through the crisis caused by excessive use of Black Cloud, summons Chunghuh, and remains beside Mino during the following half-year coma. Jaehwan later appoints Claire as Finance Horn Lord. She removes corrupt officials, redirects policy toward ordinary residents, and helps turn Gorgon's disruptive transition into practical improvements. In the restored world she remains among the companions searching for Jaehwan, but her name eventually disappears from the dwindling search party; the narration says its members die through accidents or the ordinary end of their lifespans without specifying Claire's individual cause. Appearance and personality

The corpus gives no durable physical description of Claire. She is protective and plainspoken with Mino, courageous under coercion, and pragmatic enough to convert sudden political authority into concrete economic reform rather than ceremony. (Chapters 24–32 and 50)

Powers and limitations

Claire is capable of surviving Gorgon's violent environment, but the cited chapters assign her no named combat Skill, Adaptation stage, or Awakening ability.
