The Metaverse and its gods

Baccarat first appears in the audience of Beris's gacha broadcast, urging the God of Gacha to spend more trust and asking whether the next program will feature another draw. When Beris instead turns Alliance Mogi's attack on “Naked Stab” into live content, Baccarat again asks about gacha, illustrating an audience relationship built around spectacle and wagering rather than allegiance. As the Metaverse conflict escalates, the God of Gambling savors the return of battle, looks for Jaehwan after his disappearance, and becomes uncertain whom to bet on during the final-floor struggle. Baccarat's later startlement and cry of confusion accompany events that escape the normal terms of the wager, culminating in the Tower's collapse and the return of its dead.
