Jung Minjong

Jung Minjong is Sinyoung's director of human resources and an organizer of the conspiracy to murder Seol Jihu. His long service under Yun Seohui lets him interpret an indirect order against Seol's family, but it also leaves him expendable when Yun needs deniability.

Biography

Conspiracy, flight, and disposal

Roberto Servillo publicly identifies Jung as the Sinyoung director who recruited organizations and their elite forces for the attack on Valhalla. Jung denies the accusation while Yun places him in disciplinary confinement and agrees to hand him to Valhalla, but he anticipates abandonment. After Yun tells him to “take responsibility,” Jung uses an Earth-side missing-person report to block Sinyoung's forced transfer, escapes police custody, and arranges the shooting of Seol's sister. His actions show both planning skill and dependence on the coded expectations developed through years of service to Yun. (Chapters 173, 175–176, 178)

Jung is found dead before Sicilia or the Triads can capture him. Yun initially uses that death to separate herself from the attack, but later admits under mental magic that she always intended to kill him whether the family threat succeeded or failed. Jung is therefore both an active conspirator and a disposable tool: he chooses to exploit Yun's ambiguous language, then discovers too late that the same ambiguity permits her to erase him and preserve a literal denial. Appearance and personality
