Bok Jungsik is the leader of White Rose, the Scheherazade organization that recruits the Yi siblings and plans a ruin expedition inside Parasite territory. His attempt to conceal the expedition's compromised information destroys the guild and leaves him under a Red Notice.

The White Rose expedition

Bok approaches Seol Jihu and Jang Maldong with an apparently generous bargain: join White Rose's expedition and receive the Yi siblings' contracts without a transfer fee. His polite presentation masks his need to draw another capable party into an operation whose ruin location has been sold to multiple groups. Seol's Nine Eyes marks Bok as requiring caution, and Seol refuses. White Rose proceeds without Carpe Diem, suffers catastrophic losses, and leaves Phi Sora facing blame for an expedition Bok engineered. (Chapters 76–78)

When the broker confesses and supplies evidence, Bok ignores the royal summons and goes into hiding. Flight functions as an admission in public opinion; Scheherazade issues a Red Notice, White Rose disintegrates, and the Yi siblings learn that the trusted adult who recruited them has abandoned both his organization and contractual claims. Jang Maldong remembers Bok as once principled, passionate, and tenacious despite limited talent, making his disappearance evidence of deterioration rather than an unchanging nature.
