Eternal Hunger is Jake Thayne's shape-changing living weapon, a Sin Curse of Hunger given form through his alchemy and bound directly to his soul.

History

Forging hunger incarnate

Jake created the weapon by transferring the Hunger curse from the Scimitar of Debauchery into a Chimera weapon and feeding the developing vessel the curse energy of the Root of Eternal Resentment. The completed result emerged as a new Mythical weapon tied to him through the soul. He initially experimented with forms ranging from daggers and swords to a spear, a scimitar, and an incomplete bow, but repeatedly returned to the narrow blade profile that suited his close-range style. Feeding and refinement

Eternal Hunger became one of Jake's regular melee weapons and grew through what it consumed. Its soul bond let him channel energy directly through it, strengthening the vital-energy return from successful attacks, while its mutable form supported specialized tools and paired-katar fighting. During Nevermore it remained both a weapon and a dangerous appetite: Jake used it throughout the dungeon, allowed it to consume Temlat's remaining cursed existence at Temlat's request, and recognized that neglecting it long enough could turn its hunger against him. Survival and B-grade evolution

The weapon remained embedded in Jake's Soulspace through the damage caused by his clash with the Prima Guardian. It survived the Malefic Viper's intervention and began waking again during Jake's recovery, confirming that the crisis had not destroyed it. When Jake later evolved his race to B-grade, the evolutionary energy also entered Eternal Hunger.
