Yrelstromoz is an expelled Lumenflight True Dragon whom the Malefic Viper selects as Jake’s first True Dragon quarry.

Biography

Exile from the Lumenflight

Born to two peak A-grade dragons, Yrelstromoz received rigorous magical and combat education but lived a sheltered life. After her parents died trying to reach S-grade and improve her prospects, she rejected their ambitions, spent much of her inheritance, and used her natural B-grade power without pursuing further growth. Repeated lethal tantrums culminated in her deliberately killing a blessed United Tribes party, provoking her expulsion and leaving her without Dragonflight protection. (Chapters 1215, 1216, 1229, 1230)

The dragon hunt

Jake hunted Yrelstromoz after the Viper documented her killings. Her poor experience and fear of Dragonsbane Poison initially made her flee and avoid magic, but mortal danger awakened her inherited draconic instincts and training. She then used her full light magic, Words of Power, and True Dragon resilience in a destructive duel before Jake killed her. Her aunt recovered the body, while Jake retained the empowered heart and the system recognized him as a Dragonslayer. (Chapters 1234–1240)

Appearance and personality

In humanoid form, Yrelstromoz looks largely like a woman with curved horns and reptilian eyes. Her true form is a winged, scaled Luxellian dragon whose scales glow with light during serious combat. She is bored, entitled, contemptuous of weaker beings, and hostile to restraint. Under genuine lethal pressure, panic gives way to focus and a final willingness to fight with everything she inherited.

Path, class, and abilities

• Natural True Dragon: She reaches B-grade through maturation rather than hard-won advancement, gaining a huge mana pool, physical resilience, flight, regeneration, and powerful innate resistance. That effortless growth also leaves her at the first B-grade level with a badly neglected Path.
• Light magic: She forms barriers, healing magic, cutting beams between her horns, and enormous swarms of accelerating light rays whose damage stacks when multiple beams hit the same point.
• Draconic Language: Words such as “Rise” and “Implode” impose her will on surrounding matter. The technique draws on mind, will, and inherited training, and becomes effective only after she stops panicking and treats Jake as a lethal threat.
• Limits: She lacks life-and-death experience, handles pain poorly, and cannot cleanse Jake’s Dragonsbane Poison. Because using mana stimulates the poison, every barrier and healing spell damages body and soul, forcing a race she ultimately loses.
• Latest state: Yrelstromoz is dead. Her corpse is taken by her aunt, and her light-touched heart later remains with Jake as crafting material.

Relationships

• Jake Thayne hunts her as a deliberately chosen quarry. His poison exposes her poor foundation, while her late awakening gives him the True Dragon fight he sought.
• Malefic Viper selects Yrelstromoz after researching both her danger to others and her suitability as a challenging target for his Chosen.
