Biography

World Congress and the Treasure Hunt

Sultan arrived at Haven aboard a lavish flying ship and expected Jake’s status as a Chosen to override local objections to the enslaved women in his entourage. Jake’s contempt and Miranda’s insistence on Haven’s law forced him to negotiate instead. He accepted the restrictions because access to Jake, Haven, and a new market was more valuable than his pride, establishing an alliance built on profit rather than affection.
