Minaga

Minaga is a Unique Lifeform whose self-aware clones form the All-God Legion. He creates major sections of Nevermore with the Wyrmgod, first meeting Jake's party as the exuberant host of Minaga's Labyrinth and later pursuing Jake outside the World Wonder because novelty has become rare in his enormously extended experience. Biography

Minaga's Labyrinth

Minaga welcomed Jake's party to the ten-floor labyrinth he had built inside Nevermore, pushed them toward its highest difficulty, and imposed fog that restricted sight, spatial movement, scouting, and divination. Jake's intuition repeatedly bypassed the intended exploration, but Minaga chose to complain and investigate rather than punish the party, insisting that unusual advantages belonged in Nevermore. The long sequence ended with an exhausting battle against a Minaga clone and rewards shaped by the party's performance, establishing him as both adversarial designer and unusually permissive host. The Floor Climb and Challenge Dungeons

After the party left his ten-floor domain, Minaga continued as designer and observer rather than a conventional traveling antagonist. His Endless Labyrinth Challenge Dungeon imposed escalating mazes, traps, enemies, illusions, and spatial puzzles under time limits, but Jake again drove its mechanics beyond their intended use and set an all-time record. Minaga later officiated the Leaderboard reveal, publicly acknowledged the achievement, and turned his grievance into showmanship rather than retaliation, reinforcing that exploitation was useful design data—and personal provocation—inside a test he still considered legitimate. Hunting Grounds and B-grade Evolution

After Jake's Nevermore run, Minaga's curiosity became a sustained personal motive. He inserted himself into the Order's delegation to the Pantheon of Life, reduced the accompanying proxy to S-grade, and admitted that Jake attracted him because new experiences were difficult to find across countless simultaneous lives. Their reciprocal teasing developed into genuine concern and companionship, and Minaga later built a labyrinth complex on Earth, solicited Jake and Casper as testers, and silently provided Jake a final hunting ground before his B-grade evolution. Appearance and personality

The first clone Jake meets is a four-eyed, noseless humanoid with a broad mouth, short moving tendrils in place of hair, and a loose blue robe. The individual body can vary greatly in grade and power, so this appearance identifies a clone rather than a single privileged “main” body. (Chapters 665, 712, and 1087)

Minaga is theatrical, talkative, curious, and deliberately irritating. He favors light shows, jokes, fake employment contracts, and overlong explanations, yet his behavior is not empty frivolity: he studies exploits, protects confidential dungeon observations, seeks rare experiences, and shows real concern beneath his teasing. Path, class, and abilities

Unique Lifeform and clone legion

Minaga was born in C-grade able to make roughly a dozen clones. Their number rose with his progression until the Malefic Viper estimated thousands at divine level alone. The same ability consumed so much of his potential that the system sharply limited his other skills: he lacks many ordinary abilities and cannot give Blessings, although earned necessities related to godhood remain available. Every clone shares Minaga's identity and awareness, but clones may hold different levels; destroying the highest-leveled one forces him to climb back to that stage rather than killing him permanently. All clones would have to be destroyed for that, and his ascent to godhood removed age as the obvious route to doing so. (Chapter 712)

Dungeon instances create an additional loophole. A Minaga image inside a dungeon does not count against the normal clone maximum, can possess a dungeon-specific Truesoul, and remains connected to the awareness of the wider legion. It may leave if ordinary clone capacity is available, but dies on exit when the cap is already full. Nevermore consequently shelters potentially billions of inaccessible Minagas, making permanent eradication even less plausible. By the latest discussion, Jake describes the legion as effectively infinite while noting that the system itself recognizes the ability as exceptional and burdens it with restrictions. Dungeon engineering and environmental control

Minaga builds labyrinths, generated encounters, bosses, economies, challenge rooms, and narrative branches in cooperation with the Wyrmgod. His signature labyrinth fog suppresses long-distance sight, weakens teleportation, silences useful environmental cues, and introduces false divinatory signals, although Jake's intuition remains an unfixable counter. He can observe and narrate runs, adjust a labyrinth's physical environment, and field clones scaled to the intended challenge. These powers operate inside designs made to test rather than simply kill: he preserves confidentiality and tolerates legitimate Bloodlines or Transcendent abilities even when they ruin his intended route. Combat, scaling, and latest state

Minaga's individual clones combine the high base attributes of a Unique Lifeform with whatever grade and level that body has reached. A C-grade version is stronger than other C-grades Jake has met, divine versions can surpass ordinary Godkings, and a deliberately reduced S-grade proxy travels safely with mortals. This scaling is also his constraint: a single body can be killed or contained, and the strength of one clone does not make every other clone equal. His latest demonstrated role remains both divine dungeon designer and deployable proxy, with his Earth labyrinth supplying C- and B-grade opponents for Jake and Casper. Relationships

• Jake Thayne: Jake first frustrates Minaga by bypassing his labyrinth, then becomes one of the rare mortals Minaga follows for the promise of novelty. Their combative banter develops into trust, practical collaboration, and quiet support before Jake's evolution.
• Wyrmgod: Minaga works with, not for, the Wyrmgod. Their partnership combines Minaga's proliferating labor and experimental designs with the Primordial's authority over Nevermore; the Wyrmgod can also act on Minaga's requests, including access restrictions.
• Malefic Viper: Minaga treats the Viper as an old acquaintance and fellow observer of Jake. The Viper understands the legion's history and limitations unusually well, while their conversations mix serious analysis with old bets and mutual needling.
• Sword Saint: Minaga personally tests the Sword Saint in Nevermore and covertly leaves a clone connected to his formation. He respects the swordsman's Transcendence even while using him as a target for jokes and experimental encounters.
