Lillian
Lillian is Miranda Wells’s principal assistant in Haven, combining city administration with an increasingly capable celestial-magic class and serving as the practical link between Miranda’s plans and the people who carry them out.
Biography
Building and defending Haven
Lillian first appears after accepting the role of Miranda’s assistant, joining the delegation that brings survivors from the nearby fort into the new city. She remains calm even while Jake carries her through the air by mana rope and consistently works at Miranda’s side as Haven expands. Her profession develops with that responsibility: she gains Pylon-based messaging, manages inventories and communication, and becomes one of the few people trusted to act with the city’s authority when Miranda cannot handle every task personally. (Chapters 166–173 and 200–212)
Jake later gives Lillian a Lucenti Mage Tome, and she turns what could have remained a purely administrative career into a genuine combat path. Her magic does not replace her civic role; it lets her accompany Miranda through dangerous events, help secure Haven, and return from Nevermore as a respectable mage in her own right. She continues translating broad strategy into action, from contacting Earth’s elite about their Minaga’s Labyrinths to warning that placing another major attraction inside crowded Haven would create avoidable problems. (Chapters 387, 915–917, and 1055–1065)
Appearance and personality
After reaching C-grade, Lillian removes her previously scarred facial features during evolution but begins wearing a white mask over the upper part of her face; the corpus does not otherwise give a stable detailed description of her appearance. She is composed, strong-willed, observant, and difficult to rattle. Her practicality complements Miranda’s ambition: Lillian rarely competes for attention, but she is willing to state logistical objections and can be trusted to carry an instruction through without requiring supervision. (Chapters 166–167 and 915–917)
Path, class, and abilities
Lillian’s two major competencies are her assistant profession and the Lucenti Mage class.
Administrative and Lucenti magic
As an authorized assistant, Lillian can use the Pylon’s civic systems to send and receive messages with officials connected to it, coordinate meetings, and manage resources on Haven’s behalf. Her Lucenti class draws on celestial concepts and complicated mysticism; Miranda notes that Lillian can deploy it without the extensive setup Miranda’s own witchcraft often needs, although preparation can still improve its effectiveness. The corpus establishes her growing competence but does not enumerate a complete spell list or firm upper limit. (Chapters 212, 916–917)
