Biography

Alliances and the road to Nevermore

Izil first treats Meira kindly within a study group where the other students exploit her. After researching Meira’s position, she risks approaching Jake to propose that the Altmar Empire buy out the slave contract, not for status but because she wants Meira free to build her own Path. Izil then explains that Nella and Utmal are abusers rather than friends and urges Jake not to act rashly. The resulting confrontation leaves Izil accidentally sedated for days by Jake’s soul-affecting poison, yet she continues the friendship afterward, supplies Altmar knowledge and materials, helps Meira check on her family, and accompanies her through admission to the Order and return to her old clan. Appearance and personality

Izil is an elf, but no stable hair, eye, clothing, or build details are established. She is courteous, cautious around status, and willing to challenge a powerful stranger when another elf’s freedom is at stake. Her kindness is practical rather than naïve: she investigates Jake, recognizes Nella’s influence, warns against reckless retaliation, and later teases Meira while supporting her independence. Izil is identified as a level-141 Elf, a gold-token outer member of the Order, and a royal associate of the Altmar Alchemy Association.
