Aeon

Aeon Clok is the Primordial of Time, a human watchmaker who pursued divinity to claim time itself. He rarely maintains a public faction and prefers measured personal guidance, most notably as the Sword Saint’s Patron.

Biography

Watchmaker and Patron of the Sword Saint

According to the Malefic Viper’s account, Aeon began as a watchmaker on a weak planet and advanced through crafting and time study without relying on combat. His purpose in reaching godhood was not ordinary immortality but the desire to possess time; his ascension culminated in a Transcendence that stole a moment from the multiverse. The Viper later introduced him to the Sword Saint because both had claimed difficult concepts through stubborn personal Paths. (Chapters 373, 375)

Aeon evaluated the Sword Saint directly, offered conversation rather than worship, and granted a Divine Blessing after recognizing his skill and rebirth. He later joined the investigation into the void ambush, formulated possible motives, and returned the shaken swordsman safely. As B-grade approached, Aeon counseled patience, promised to make him Chosen if he succeeded, and continued overseeing centuries of subjective meditation without interrupting the process. (Chapters 375, 395, 1198, 1199, 1228, 1268)

Appearance and personality

Aeon appears as a long-faced, angular human man in a fitted black suit whose sleeves carry stains from his work. He is calm, emotionally restrained, indifferent to conventional attractiveness, fond of coffee, and frequently occupied with making or repairing watches. His mentoring is understated but demanding, using perspective and patience rather than constant intervention. (Chapters 375, 395, 1199, 1228, 1268)

Path, class, and abilities

Aeon’s Path combines watchmaking with time magic. His activated Transcendence can stop the concept of time for a period, and he has trapped stronger enemies in sealed worlds until time killed them. The activation has an unspecified cost, so it is not established as permanent or freely sustainable. His temporal methods and unusual existence make him, in the Viper’s assessment, one of the hardest gods to kill permanently. (Chapters 373, 531, 779)

He can create extreme time dilation, observe extended temporal processes, and attempt to rewind an area to inspect past events. That reach still has counters: the void ambushers erased themselves so thoroughly that even Aeon could not reverse time to identify them. His latest demonstrated use is supervision of the Sword Saint’s long subjective training rather than direct combat. (Chapters 1210, 1268)

  • Malefic Viper: The two Primordials are old acquaintances who exchange favors, candid judgments, and occasional wagers. (Chapters 373, 375, 1182)

Items

Aeon crafts watches, but no personal watch or other item associated with him is included in the finalized item scope.
