Red Crystal Spear

The Red Crystal Spear is Chae Nayun's early Tower weapon, strengthened with Yggdrasil's blessing and a fire attribute.

History

Purchase and blessing

The level-one spear first appears among the Tower items available through the early shop system. Chae Nayun buys it cheaply and discovers that it has already been combined with Yggdrasil's Small Blessing, effectively raising its burn and fire-attribute effects. She keeps it rather than reselling it and uses it as her main polearm during the early floors. (Chapters 159 and 161–162)

Temporary transfers

An arm injury makes two-handed weapons difficult for Nayun to use. She offers the spear to Cheok Jungyeong in exchange for information, but he refuses because he has chosen to fight barehanded. Kim Youngjin later takes the spear temporarily when he returns another weapon to her. The spear's disposition after the Tower is not stated, and the later claymore replaces it as Nayun's emphasized weapon. (Chapters 174, 176, 178, and 182)

Abilities and properties

• Possesses burn damage and fire-attribute power. (Chapter 161)
• Yggdrasil's Small Blessing raises all of the spear's effects by one level. (Chapter 161)
• Remains a relatively low-level Tower item despite its useful attribute; no later evolution is established. (Chapter 178)
