Yun Seung-Ah

Yun Seung-Ah is a high-ranking Hero who inherits the troubled Creator's Sacred Grace guild and rebuilds it through personal sacrifice, aggressive field work, and loyalty to the people who remain. Initially introduced as an ambitious recruiter with a ruthless view of talent, she grows into a leader willing to absorb debt and disgrace rather than abandon her guild. Her swordsmanship later makes her an important combatant in the campaigns against Orden and Baal. (Chapters 0–368)

Biography

Talent scout and guild vice leader

As vice leader of the top-ranked Creator's Sacred Grace, Yun Seung-Ah treats Cube as a contest for the next generation of elite Heroes. She studies Kim Suho and Kim Hajin, approaches promising cadets directly, and even obtains restricted museum footage to identify an unknown light-attribute fighter. Her pressure to keep the guild at number one encourages a cold recruitment philosophy—secure indispensable talent and discard weak performers—while her pursuit of Jain reveals both her persistence and the danger of turning that ambition into a personal hunt. The Tower of Miracle disaster

When the guild master insists on attempting the Tower of Miracle despite her objections, Yun Seung-Ah cannot prevent the operation but takes responsibility once it collapses. She directs the evacuation and helps return roughly three quarters of the expedition's thirteen hundred participants, far above the predicted survival rate without her intervention. The public investigation nevertheless associates her with the disaster, making the rescue that demonstrates her leadership the same event that destroys her reputation and destabilizes the guild. Rebuilding Creator's Sacred Grace

After becoming guild leader, Yun Seung-Ah refuses the easier option of leaving a disgraced organization that had been her lifelong dream to lead. She schedules repeated dungeon clears, recruits Kim Suho and Yi Yeonghan, and offers competitive contracts while carrying billions of won in personal debt, even borrowing money and contributing her own funds. The work lifts Creator's Sacred Grace from twentieth to thirteenth place, but the financial pressure leaves her exhausted and eventually forces her to sell her apartment. (Chapters 145–171)

Her hardship does not make her hoard the guild's remaining opportunities. She secures a valuable black Tower ticket for Kim Suho by pleading with her mentor Yoo Sihyuk, then equips Suho for the journey while staying behind to keep the guild operating. Later, she leads the expedition for Genghis Khan's artifact, balancing hostility toward Djinns and the Chameleon Troupe with the practical need to rescue the guild's finances; the successful recovery gives Creator's Sacred Grace room to survive and grow. The Orden campaign

By the national operation against Orden, Yun Seung-Ah commands Team Three and approaches the mission as both a field leader and a planner, rehearsing with simulations and facility blueprints. Inside the humanoid-monster research center, an ambush breaks her qi defense and forces her into a close fight with Tigris. Rather than overpower him alone, she divides her White Flower Sword into branching restraints, pins him long enough to create a shooting opportunity, and survives through coordination with Shin Jonghak and their allies. Secret Service and the final war

Yun Seung-Ah later joins the Secret Service in Leores, where the war's supernatural enemies expose new limits: Death Knights continue attacking after her Flower Sword severs their limbs, requiring the team to combine exorcism, magic, and physical force. During the confrontation with Baal, she expands the sword's white “flowers” across the battlefield and contributes to the coalition's final strike. After the fighting, she remains leader of a resurgent Creator's Sacred Grace rather than treating wartime success as a reason to abandon it. (Chapters 329–368)

Appearance and personality

Yun Seung-Ah is a striking woman with long hair and brown eyes whose beauty and polished public manner contribute to her popularity as a Hero. Early on, her graceful image conceals a fiercely competitive and sometimes utilitarian temperament. The Tower disaster and the burden of leadership erode that arrogance without erasing her pride: she remains playful with rivals and severe toward enemies, but becomes far more protective of subordinates and willing to endure exhaustion, debt, and public contempt on their behalf. Gifts and abilities

Yun Seung-Ah is an elite close-range swordswoman capable of reinforcing her body and weapon with magic power. At Cube's overseer test, she intercepts ten enhanced bullets without moving from her position and forms a sustained sphere of light; in later battles, her Flower Sword releases white or flame-like power, splits into multiple branches, and can bind an enemy long enough for an ally to attack. The corpus does not establish a formal name for her Gift, so these techniques are best treated as applications of her swordsmanship and magic rather than a separately named ability. Her strength is substantial but not absolute. A sufficiently powerful strike can break her qi barrier, cramped terrain allows Tigris to pressure her, and dismembering undead opponents does not neutralize them. Her most effective late-war feats therefore depend on battlefield judgment and cooperation, including creating openings for ranged allies and adding her sword to collective finishing attacks rather than defeating the greatest enemies by herself. Relationships

Kim Suho becomes both Yun Seung-Ah's most important recruit and a person whose future she protects at considerable cost. She places him in command of a guild team, secures his Tower ticket and equipment, and later trusts his strength in operations that she cannot personally control. Yi Yeonghan joins the same rebuilding effort and serves under Suho without becoming a target of her frustration over rank or status. (Chapters 148–176, 199, 251)

Her relationships with rival Heroes reveal a more informal side of her leadership. She competes constantly with Yoo Yeonha and Essence of the Strait, borrows from Aileen despite the embarrassment, and relies on allies such as Shin Jonghak when missions exceed any one Hero's capacity. Jain is a more painful connection: their history of deception and pursuit culminates in a delayed confrontation after memory manipulation, leaving their personal reckoning unresolved even as a larger battle interrupts it. Items

Yun Seung-Ah's principal equipment is her sword, through which she channels the techniques collectively described as the Flower Sword. She also uses mission-specific resources such as tactical simulations and facility blueprints when commanding the Orden operation.
