Kim Youngjin is an Essence of the Strait officer who leads guild expeditions through the Tower of Wish and Orden's territory. His Weapon Master Gift makes him dependent on access to suitable arms, but exceptionally dangerous when equipped with a powerful weapon.

Biography

Tower command

Kim Youngjin leads Essence of the Strait's Tower Subjugation Team, organizing members, evaluating contribution rankings, receiving reports, and negotiating with other guild leaders. He keeps the team functioning while Chae Nayun struggles with personal crises and later helps coordinate its buffs and deployments. On Crevon's battlefield he obtains the Azure Dragon Crescent Blade and uses Weapon Master at full strength, demonstrating why the guild entrusts him with both command and front-line responsibility. (Chapters 169–225)

Campaigns against Orden and Baal

Promoted to high-rank grade 1, Youngjin takes a twenty-person elite team into Orden's territory and orders its members to hold formation when monsters threaten to surround them. The group encounters a humanoid monster and a Genkelope vessel but remains part of the broader campaign. Youngjin later enters the Demon Realm Gate with Essence forces and joins the heroes assembled against Baal, surviving the final conflict. (Chapters 268–345)

Appearance and personality

The corpus gives no stable physical description for Kim Youngjin. He is disciplined, vocal, and accustomed to command, but also attentive to distressed subordinates: he attempts to calm Chae Nayun instead of treating her solely as a combat asset. (Chapters 174, 219, and 268)
