Khalifa

Khalifa is the Chameleon Troupe's Seat of Blue and its principal portal user. His ability makes the troupe mobile across missions and hideouts, while his calm suspicion helps him act as a practical check on more impulsive members.

Biography

The troupe's transport specialist

Khalifa first works undercover among Packhorse Master members during a dungeon conquest. He later appears openly as the Seat of Blue, responding with Jain to crises and using portals to move Kim Hajin between the Chameleon Troupe's hideout and distant assignments. His transport role becomes part of the group's daily operations as well as its covert work, allowing members to deploy quickly without exposing their base. (Chapters 83–170)

War and rescue

During the Orden conflict, Khalifa joins the troupe's mission team and repeatedly moves people across otherwise difficult distances, including taking Tenzuhar back to Crean. When Baal's castle collapses, he arrives with Kaita and Jin Yohan to remove the injured Boss and Jain from danger. He survives the war, continues serving the troupe, and is still trusted to transport other people's family members safely during the aftermath. (Chapters 284–293 and 343–372)

Appearance and personality

Khalifa is a Black man with reggae-style hair who often wears sunglasses. He has a heavy, deep voice and generally presents a steadier manner than the troupe's more flamboyant members. He is watchful enough to question Jain when her behavior appears suspicious. (Chapters 126, 142, and 145)

Gifts and abilities

Khalifa's named Gift is Portal. It opens passages between locations whose coordinates he can reach, making him the Chameleon Troupe's main transport specialist. The corpus demonstrates repeated long-distance use but does not define its maximum range, passenger limit, preparation time, or magic-power cost. (Chapters 146–170 and 285–293)

Relationships

• Chameleon Troupe: Khalifa is its Seat of Blue and supports almost every member through transport.
