Redmars is a relatively weak player who adapts to the Pantheon as an eager organizer rather than a combat specialist. Their improvised moon-facing coordination later develops into the Domain of Capitalism and the Hall of Myriad Stars’ widely used credit system.

Biography

Coordination and the invisible hand

Redmars drops out early in the continental wars and remains unsure why they belong among stronger players, yet appreciates Sung-Woon’s revival of defeated vassals and looks for useful work. During the Loom crisis, Redmars asks Bion for access to Night Sky and recruits Hwee-Kyung to coordinate the many independent moon-facing plans. Other players grumble at the interference, while Redmars justifies it as service to the Pantheon; Sung-Woon’s brief approval confirms that the practical coordination matters more than prestige. In the new system Redmars chooses Capitalism, hoping to become a genuine “invisible hand.” Credit points issued under that Domain become currency in the Hall and can offset demerits, giving the formerly marginal player a central administrative function. Appearance and personality

Redmars wears a black suit and has a head resembling the red planet Mars, matching the player ID. (Chapter 273)

They are modest, eager, politically nervous, and enthusiastic about systems. Redmars considers themself an ordinary citizen, becomes uncomfortable with apostolic deference, and seeks confirmation before making large claims. (Chapters 273–316)

Powers and abilities

Redmars is not a strong competitive player but can coordinate institutions and design incentives. As Constellation of Capitalism, they issue credit scores used as currency and in demerit conversion.
