Multi-Dimensional Sky Opening Transportation Device
The Multi-Dimensional Sky Opening Transportation Device is a Federation of Light Universal Treasure that opens rapid long-range passages across ordinary space and secondary dimensions, repeatedly turning distance and interception into strategic variables.
History
Planet Lighthouse deployment
The Federation provides the device for the joint operation at Planet Lighthouse, where it supports the attackers' arrival and intended retreat. Its presence allows forces from different civilizations to coordinate around a remote target without relying only on conventional stargates. The failed ambush demonstrates both its value and its vulnerability: transportation remains decisive only if the users retain the time, coordinates, and battlefield control needed to activate it safely. (Chapter 844)
Strategic transport and pursuit
The device remains relevant in later civilization-level operations. Federation-aligned forces use its dimensional reach during the attempt to capture Hila, and the explored universe later applies comparable transport capability to reconnaissance, interception, and redeployment against the World Tree. Han Xiao repeatedly plans around its ability to change fronts quickly, treating control of its exits and activation window as part of the battle rather than assuming teleportation guarantees escape. (Chapters 1045–1055 and 1295–1363)
Counterinvasion infrastructure
During the final World Tree campaigns, the device supports movement into hostile territory and coordination across enormous distances. It helps make counterinvasion possible, but remains a transportation asset rather than an offensive weapon by itself; fleets and Beyond Grade As must still secure the route and survive at the destination. (Chapters 1385 and 1427–1436)
Abilities and properties
- Opens strategic long-distance transportation routes that can cross or exploit secondary-dimensional space. (Chapters 844 and 1045–1055)
- Can move fleets and high-level combatants rapidly enough to alter an operation's timing and geometry. (Chapters 1295–1336)
- Requires usable coordinates, activation time, and a secure enough environment to complete transport. (Chapters 844 and 1357–1359)
- Does not protect transported forces after arrival or replace the need to control an exit point. (Chapters 1363 and 1435–1436)
