Morred

Morred is a high-ranking New Phylen Rebel combatant and commander in Section Zero's secret war against Bloodshed Land. He leads the Knife Team assault on the T-04 hyperdrive base station and commits his fleet to a dangerous breakthrough that helps secure Section Zero's first overwhelming victory.

Biography

Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

Morred commands a Shining Crow-grade flagship and a mixed guerrilla fleet selected as one of three Knife Teams targeting a Bloodshed Land hyperdrive base station. After Han Xiao joins the operation, Morred assigns him the enemy's fifteen Calamity Grade defenders and directs the fleet battle outside the station's shield. Believing Han needs reinforcements, Morred orders the entire formation into the enemy line despite allied captains' objections, arguing that they cannot seek Purple Crystal's favor without accepting risk. Han destroys a satellite fortress before the reinforcement team arrives, and Morred immediately drives through the resulting gap to destroy the station. Ralph praises Morred's decisiveness, and Morred later transfers one of the captured satellite fortresses to Han. His subsequent fate is not stated. (Chapters 680–686 and 688)

Appearance and personality

Morred is a thin, bony Phylen Human who looks weak despite weighing nearly a ton. He is welcoming toward valuable allies, tactically direct, and willing to gamble his own fleet when a decisive opportunity appears. Under pressure he becomes visibly tense, but he overcomes allied hesitation through blunt appeals to courage and shared ambition. (Chapters 680–685)

Abilities and class

Morred is a Calamity Grade Mechanical Pugilist whose muscle fibers are nearly as strong as alloy. His body is fused with semi-organic metals, accounting for his exceptional density.
