Li Ge

Li Ge is the public player name of a leading Chinese professional competitor and the longtime pillar of Temple of God. A talented Esper with a polished media presence, he follows Han Xiao's faction from Planet Aquamarine into the galaxy while pursuing tournament success for his club.

Biography

Escape from Germinal and the Aquamarine War

Li Ge enters the story as China's second-ranked professional player, discussing the Inhuman phenomenon and the newly announced Galaxy Pro League on a broadcast. He presents himself as an advocate for deliberate training and hopes to lead China internationally, while also seeking Black Phantom's opportunities. As Temple of God's competitive pillar, he reaches the first season's national top eight in Singles but loses a close series to Frenzied Sword; Temple of God nevertheless finishes third in the team competition and qualifies for the international stage. The Black Star Mercenary Group

After entering space with Han Xiao, Li Ge leads Temple of God away from the waiting group to search independently for missions. The detour causes his team to miss the initial mercenary-group invitation and benefits, forcing an embarrassed Li Ge to join after everyone else. During later operations he finds the Secret Message Bead and exchanges it for scouting armor. In international competition, his normally cautious team fails to advance, but Li Ge changes tactics once elimination is certain, playing aggressively enough to limit opponents and indirectly improve another Chinese team's prospects. Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

Li Ge remains a prominent Temple of God captain through later versions, approaching competitions formally and conservatively. Rainy Kim eliminates his team from the second season's division playoffs, but he continues operating inside the Black Star faction and returns when Version 3.0 begins. He later fights on the Secret War front, serves as a guest commentator during the third Pro League, and accompanies Temple of God back to the internationals. In his latest direct scene, Li Ge is still active and privately welcomes the possibility that veteran rivals might retire, imagining an opening for Temple of God's rise. Appearance and personality

Li Ge is described as handsome and has many fans, but the corpus does not give a detailed physical description of either the player or his avatar. He is charismatic, media-conscious, talented, competitive, and usually formal in public. His play style and leadership favor caution and avoiding mistakes. Outside broadcasts, he can be opportunistic and self-interested, withholding useful discoveries from competitors, resenting lost advantages, and quietly hoping rival veterans leave the field. Relationships

• Han Xiao: Li Ge initially seeks Black Phantom for advancement opportunities and later follows him into space. His attempt to find opportunities independently delays Temple of God's entry into Han Xiao's mercenary group, but Li Ge remains in the resulting faction for later versions.
• Hao Tian: Hao Tian is Li Ge's longtime professional rival and contrasting personality. Li Ge is image-conscious and outspoken where Hao Tian is taciturn, and their clubs repeatedly compete in domestic leagues.
• Frenzied Sword: Frenzied Sword upsets Li Ge in the first season's Singles quarterfinal, overcoming Li Ge's Esper combinations with a Mechanical Pugilist build and becoming one of the newer stars who rival his standing.

Items

Li Ge briefly acquires the Secret Message Bead during a galactic battle and trades it to Han Xiao for an NCO-class scouting armor. The armor is a useful progression reward, but neither object is established as a permanent signature possession. “Li Ge's Life Is Filled with Darkness” is a separate forum username seen in Chapter 914, not an alias or item belonging to Li Ge.
