Ji Jie is the deputy head of Germinal's Dark Crow Valley base and the planner behind its attempted destruction of a Heslan strike force. His elaborate trap initially succeeds, but Han Xiao disrupts the retreat and kills him before he can escape.

Biography

Escape from Germinal and the Aquamarine War

Division 13 identifies Ji Jie as the twenty-nine-year-old deputy head of the Dark Crow Valley base. Anticipating Hesla's assault, he plants genuine intelligence among false server data, abandons troops and facilities as bait, and channels the invaders toward a prepared ambush. Ji Jie watches the attack unfold with confidence and seals internal passages before withdrawing with Pan Kuang, but Han Xiao intercepts them and shoots Ji Jie through the cheek and head. Later use of his corpse as bait confirms that the escape failed; a subsequent dungeon objective asking players to keep him alive is only a replay condition, not evidence that he survived. Appearance and personality

Ji Jie is described as tall and lanky, with a sly-looking face. Intelligence records identify him as a twenty-nine-year-old man of mixed Asian and Caucasian ancestry. He is calm, calculating, and proud of his own foresight, but also ruthlessly willing to sacrifice subordinates and an entire base for a strategic blow. Abilities and class

Ji Jie is explicitly a non-Super and displays no supernatural class abilities. His importance comes from intelligence work, operational planning, deception, and command authority. He constructs a convincing information trap, predicts Hesla's likely response, prepares an ambush route, and organizes a retreat, but he lacks the stamina and combat power of Pan Kuang and cannot withstand Han Xiao's long-range attack. Relationships

  • Han Xiao: Ji Jie's trap targets the Heslan force Han Xiao accompanies. Han Xiao recognizes the danger, pursues the retreating commanders, and kills Ji Jie with a sniper shot.
  • Pan Kuang: Pan Kuang is the base's combat leader and Ji Jie's protector during their attempted escape. Their bodies are later used together as bait in Han Xiao's counterattack.
  • Ji Nuo: Intelligence suggests that Ji Jie is related to the leader of the Wind Eye Organization, though the precise relationship is not established.
