Fakisen

Fakisen, known as the Purple Devil, is a longtime Fallen Ark officer and calculating deputy to EsGod. A former wanted criminal and Beyond Grade A seed, he handles negotiations and fleet command while quietly pursuing strategies that reduce the pressure on himself and the organization.

Biography

The Evolution Cube and Crimson Dynasty

After roughly a century under EsGod, Fakisen acts as his negotiator with the Arcane Church and commands Fallen Ark forces during the attack on Planet Lighthouse. When EsGod abandons the alliance, Fakisen proposes secretly helping the Crimson Dynasty intercept the Arcane Church, weakening one enemy while redirecting attention from Fallen Ark. He later recommends retreat from a vastly superior encirclement, but EsGod insists on battle; Fakisen maintains the fleet's defense, then leaves command as suspicion convinces him that remaining beside EsGod may become fatal. The Flickering World

After EsGod's fall, the original Fallen Ark fragments: some members are arrested, while others join different criminal or mercenary groups. The remaining forces are eventually reintegrated into a much smaller organization that enters a quiet, dormant phase. Contemporary reporting says its leader “seemed to be” Fakisen, formerly EsGod's deputy. Appearance and personality

Fakisen is a nonhuman about 1.7 meters tall, emaciated and bent, with four arms, thick dark-purple skin, and a spiked purple tongue. A red metal mask is embedded over the upper half of his face, concealing his eyes. He is eerie, mocking, secretive, and strategically patient; even when physically threatened by EsGod, he argues calmly and conceals his deeper intentions. (Chapters 807 and 856)

Abilities and class

Fakisen is a Calamity Grade Esper and was once considered a Beyond Grade A seed. He releases and reabsorbs purple fog that can be formed into an orb, though the supplied scenes do not fully explain the technique's combat effects.
