Antonio

Antonio manages the Fabian Company's Morning Wind City branch and becomes Han Xiao's recurring supplier, transport arranger, and driver. He combines commercial shrewdness with enough composure and implied combat strength to accompany dangerous field operations, while his dealings with Han Xiao gradually develop from paid services into an easy friendship.

Biography

Escape from Germinal and the Aquamarine War

Antonio first sells Han Xiao a large equipment order at the Fabian Company's branch, honors the discount attached to his Black Gold Card, helps him access Blood Pact work, and arranges workshop space. He later accompanies Han Xiao to Somar after the local Fabian chief is killed, handling administration and supplying maps, vehicles, aircraft, and other logistics. Han Xiao senses considerable combat power beneath Antonio's massive build and hires him as a driver; Antonio bargains for twenty thousand dollars, then navigates an ambush skillfully and without panic. Their connection persists through further transport and supply requests, including delivery of the Second-Generation Rover. Antonio warns Han Xiao about dangers in the Western Continent and, by the time Han Xiao returns to the Southern Continent, welcomes “Old Black” with a laugh and a bear hug as a friend rather than merely another client. (Chapters 89, 92, 95–118, 136, 165, and 215)

Appearance and personality

Antonio is enormously built and obese, filling a sofa like a mountain; his rough face, stretched white shirt, cigar, and strong body odor make him visually unmistakable. He is relaxed, humorous, and socially direct, but remains a hard bargainer and a knowledgeable professional who does not disclose everything he knows. Danger rarely disturbs his composure. (Chapters 89, 92, 95, and 215)

Abilities and class

The corpus does not give Antonio a named class, grade, or signature combat ability. Han Xiao nevertheless senses immense combat power from him despite his outward obesity. Antonio also demonstrates practical field skill as a driver, choosing effective angles and handling a vehicle confidently during an ambush, alongside his broader expertise in weapons, supplies, routes, and transport. (Chapters 89, 92, and 95–97)
