Spine-Spear of the Ogre Gargantuan

The Spine-Spear of the Ogre Gargantuan is Sam's post-Class weapon for Randidly Ghosthound. It bridges the gap between Randidly's earlier monster-spine weapons and his later partnership with the living spear Acri.

History

A spear for Randidly's new Class

Sam gives Randidly the spear as the latter begins ordinary Level progression under Planting of the Forest of Enmity. Its scale and monster-derived construction match a wielder whose physical power has already outgrown most conventional weapons. (Chapter 410)

Raid-dungeon use

Randidly carries the Ogre Gargantuan spear into the Dintan Raid Dungeon and continues using it as his named weapon during the early campaign. Acri's awakening later supplies him with a responsive living spear, after which the Ogre Gargantuan weapon is no longer recorded. (Chapters 426 and 487)

Abilities and properties

• The weapon is a large spear constructed around the spine or body material of an Ogre Gargantuan. (Chapter 410)
• Its heavy physical construction is suited to Randidly's post-Class Strength, but it is not shown possessing consciousness or self-directed transformation. (Chapters 410 and 426)
