Masterwork Bone Cloak

The Masterwork Bone Cloak is a defensive garment crafted by Sam for Randidly Ghosthound. It represents the height of Donnyton's pre-Nexus equipment craft and later becomes the outer layer of a defense shared with the living armor Sulfur.

History

Sam's masterwork gift

Sam completes the cloak during Donnyton's assessment and Class preparations, giving Randidly a substantial defensive piece before the latter begins ordinary Level progression. Randidly equips it as he enters the Dintan Raid Dungeon. (Chapters 399–410)

Defense through the raid dungeon

The Bone Cloak remains part of Randidly's equipment through the dungeon campaign, protecting him amid battles with the dungeon's factions and bosses. Its repeated physical presence makes it one of Sam's most durable gifts from this period. (Chapters 411–479)

Layered with Sulfur

After the second generation of Soulseeds awakens, Sulfur serves as living plant armor beneath the Bone Cloak. Randidly can ask Sulfur to flow away from his body while the outer cloak remains a separate garment, demonstrating that the two defenses are distinct. (Chapters 487 and 506)

Abilities and properties

• The cloak is a masterwork defensive garment made with bone-derived material and intended for a high-Endurance spear fighter. (Chapter 399)
• It can be worn over Sulfur's amorphous armor form, providing a conventional outer defense above a living bonded protector. (Chapter 506)
