Iradak's Tinglesilk Gloves

Iradak's Tinglesilk Gloves are the handwear in Sam's blessing-linked equipment set for Randidly Ghosthound. They combine concealed hand movement with a numbing touch and the calculating legacy of the Great Spider Iradak.

History

Iradak's inherited story

When Randidly examines the gloves, their description recounts Iradak's failed effort to disguise itself as a human. The spider's blood and grudge transformed the Tinglesilk garments after its death. Because the elaborate history arrives through Sam's designs rather than his conscious invention, the gloves help reveal that Randidly's blessings carried latent images into the equipment. Testing and combat use

Randidly discovers the numbing effect by touching the gloves before putting them on; even his powerful body briefly loses feeling before Yyrwood Flesh of Yggdrasil drives the effect away. He later equips the gloves for the Hound's Ladder and retains them through his return to the Nexus. (Chapters 918, 923, 980, and 1131)
