Codex Hexahedron

The Codex Hexahedron is Randidly's fifth Fateset piece, a metal cube assembled from thirty-six smaller cubes. It examines people, objects, memories, and even the structure of the Nexus, converting vast complexity into information Randidly can understand. (Chapters 2005, 2279)

History

Acquisition of the fifth piece

Randidly obtains the Codex as his fifth Fatepiece and begins developing it through acts of examination and interpretation. Its modular cubes record and reorganize the information it processes rather than functioning as a conventional written archive. (Chapter 2005)

Mastery and the sixth Fatepiece

While parsing the history surrounding Elhume, the Codex rises through its final levels. At Level 100, runic symbols form across its smaller cubes, which rotate and settle into a new configuration; its mastery then allows Randidly to locate the blank sixth Fatepiece. (Chapter 2178)

Nexus and multiverse scans

As part of the completed Fateset, the Codex participates in Pantheon's Intervention. Randidly later expands its thirty-six pieces across the Nexus to examine damage in the fabric of time. In the outer multiverse, he uses an even larger scan to gather history and reinforce his new universe. (Chapters 2211, 2279, 2324)

• The larger hexahedron consists of thirty-six smaller metal cubes capable of separating, rotating, and recombining. (Chapters 2178, 2279)
• It provides examination and understanding of objects and individuals. (Chapter 2279)
• It can parse dense memories and historical connections, with its pieces and runes reorganizing as information is processed. (Chapter 2178)
• With sufficient power, it can spread across the Nexus to read the condition of time or gather history across the outer multiverse. (Chapters 2279, 2324)
• Mastering it reveals the route to the sixth Fatepiece and grants per-Class-Level attribute bonuses. (Chapter 2178)
