Acri

Acri is a conscious Soulseed companion who most often fights beside Randidly Ghosthound in the form of a spear. Acri can rest as a belt, choose how to respond to a wielder, develop multiple weapon bodies, and eventually fuse with the Alchemist's Passport. The weapon forms describe Acri's function, not ownership: Acri is a bonded person and partner rather than Randidly's property.

History

A living spear awakens

Acri awakens with the second generation of Randidly's activated Soulseeds, designed around Spear Proficiency. In battle Acri supplies the rigid reach of a spear, but outside a strike the living plant-metal body can loosen, move, and respond independently. Randidly quickly treats Acri as a participant in their shared experiments rather than an inert replacement weapon. (Chapters 487, 506, and 510)

Separation and recovery

On the frontlines beyond Earth, Acri is described as an extraordinarily strong hybrid of living wood and metal. Versault takes custody during Randidly's loss of his equipment, and Randidly later recovers Acri and Sulfur together. Acri's reactions throughout the separation and reunion demonstrate continuing awareness. (Chapters 768 and 823)

Shal's borrowed spear

Randidly asks Acri to accompany Shal for the Ascension duel. Acri changes length, responds to Shal's movements, and participates actively in his spear style across the duel. This temporary bond is a loan of assistance with Acri's participation, not a transfer of ownership. (Chapters 846–848)

Multiplication and the Alpha Keyspear

Acri later evolves into three tethered portions capable of assuming different weapon functions. At the end of the observed story, the evolved Philosopher's Key—then called the Alchemist's Passport—fuses with Acri. The resulting Acri, Alpha Keyspear joins Acri's living, adaptive weapon body to the Fatepiece's path-opening nature. (Chapters 2053 and 2324)

• Acri is a conscious Soulseed being whose body combines hyper-strong living wood and metal. (Chapters 487 and 768)
• Acri can rest around Randidly's waist as a belt and spring into spear form when needed. (Chapters 865 and 1503)
• The spear body can alter its length and handling to cooperate with a temporary wielder such as Shal. (Chapters 846–848)
• Acri's later body divides into three tethered sections with distinct weapon applications. (Chapter 2053)
• As the Alpha Keyspear, Acri incorporates the Alchemist's Passport and its connection to paths and portals. (Chapter 2324)
