Biography

The last Egg Guardian seeks a future

Yn’ulk survives the slaughter around the egg clutches after losing two fingers, holding a remnant spark of life until Health Potions arrive. He accepts the Savior’s direction because Lizakh citizenship depends on persuading a wary population that coexistence is worthwhile. During the resulting mission, his monstrous image is the most developed among the group and he keeps the party moving when no answer comes from a silent fort. His resourcefulness and loyalty ultimately lead another Patron to nominate him as a worthy protector of the Lizakh. (Chapters 1620, 1629, and 1658)

Appearance and personality

Yn’ulk is a muscular Lizakh who has lost two fingers from his left hand. His bent posture before the Savior expresses gratitude rather than weakness; in the field he is terse, vigilant, and willing to continue into silence. (Chapters 1620 and 1629)

Abilities and progression

He projects a powerful monstrous image, the most refined among his immediate companions, and possesses the endurance of a veteran egg-clutch defender. A Health Potion is necessary to preserve his remaining life after the massacre, so resilience is not invulnerability. His nomination as Patron rests as much on loyalty and resourcefulness as raw force. (Chapters 1620, 1629, and 1658)

The Lizakh egg clutches define his duty. Randidly is addressed as Savior and becomes the authority whose approval can secure a Patron, while an existing Patron advocates for Yn’ulk’s appointment. (Chapters 1620 and 1658)
