Silo Rune
Silo Rune is a talented but volatile Tellus spear fighter whose ability to absorb hostile energy magnifies both his usefulness and his instability. (Chapters 624, 641, and 808)
Biography
Corrupted power and chaotic ambition
Silo joins Skarch, Azriel, and Randidly in Team Sixteen while carrying an urgent desire to matter and to lead. During the sea expedition he secretly absorbs corrupted Aether, gaining power but making himself increasingly difficult to understand and control. He recognizes after the Propagator crisis that he is not suited to command, yet remains self-centered and emotionally impulsive. Family tension with Rumera and a violent tournament clash with Helen expose the same pattern: good intentions, hunger for glory, and power that changes the battlefield without guaranteeing sound judgment. (Chapters 624, 641, 654, 673, 710, 787, 808, and 831)
Appearance and personality
Silo’s stable coloration and clothing are not repeatedly detailed. His absorbed corruption produces visible dark alteration, including blackened features, while his body language shifts between emotional pleading, pride, and uncontrolled violence. (Chapters 624, 673, and 831)
Abilities and progression
Silo can absorb energy and images, including corrupted Aether, then express the accumulated power through spear combat and chaotic battlefield changes. He can wield multiple spears and create a violent shade potent enough to be reused against Shal. Absorption increases his options but also alters him and intensifies instability, making discernment and self-control his clearest limitations. (Chapters 641, 673, 808, 823, and 831)
Relationships
Rumera is tied to his family conflict. Skarch, Azriel, and Randidly are Team Sixteen companions, while Helen becomes the opponent who most clearly draws out his chaotic violence. (Chapters 624, 710, 787, and 808)
Items
He fights with spears, sometimes several at once, but no single named personal artifact is established. (Chapter 808)
