Biography

A soldier between command and prophecy

Flail Platton is absent on overseas insurgency operations when Randidly first seeks his military group, establishing him as a field soldier rather than a ceremonial commander. He later appears pale-faced while deflecting the Oracle's questions, caught between institutional duty and powers that conventional military experience cannot easily address. His continued involvement shows a pragmatic willingness to cooperate, even when prophecy and Randidly's presence make the room more dangerous than any ordinary operation. (Chapters 627, 822)
