Nathaz Eloise

Nathaz Eloise is an Overlay System worker whose dreams connect with Randidly before long labor places him beside an ancestral figure opposing Elhume. (Chapters 1179, 1936, and 2291)

Biography

Shared dreams lead to endless labor

Nathaz first reaches Randidly through a vanishing dream encounter, gives a name, and predicts that their dreams may lead them to the same place in the Nexus. Later references identify Nathaz as an Overlay System employee from a department weakened by attacks on the System. By the final struggle, the many-limbed worker labors beside an ancestor so intensely that time and personal awareness blur, driven by the need to finish before Elhume can intervene. The promised convergence becomes collective resistance rather than a simple reunion. (Chapters 1179, 1936, and 2291)

Appearance and personality

Nathaz’s late form has many limbs that tremble with exertion. Earlier visual details are transient within a dream and not stable enough for a fixed portrait. The character is earnest, obsessive in labor, and capable of losing track of time while pursuing a necessary task. (Chapters 1179 and 2291)

Abilities and progression

Nathaz can establish or appear within a meaningful dream contact and has technical experience from work on the Overlay System. The many-limbed body supports prolonged labor on a large undertaking. Exact combat Skills are not shown, and sustained exertion produces trembling, fatigue, and impaired time awareness. (Chapters 1179, 1936, and 2291)

Relationships

Randidly receives Nathaz’s early invitation. An unnamed ancestor directs the final work, while Elhume is the power they are racing to preempt. (Chapters 1179 and 2291)

Items

An unspecified tool appears and vanishes during the first dream meeting, but its identity and later custody are not established. (Chapter 1179)
