Biography
Creation, affection, and authoritarian light
Mae works among the founders of the reflected Aetherlands, helping bring constructed worlds to life and offering Phaea aid with confident generosity. Her fondness for Westrisser’s daughter and work alongside the Patron of Feathers reveal genuine attachment, while Elhume trusts her talents. Yet her world-state solution shifts toward cowing opponents and then “illuminating” them, a program Randidly recognizes as forced mental conformity. Fiero’s possessive claim to love ends in her death, but Randidly later preserves belief in the creative resolve that existed before her ideal curdled. Mae is repeatedly associated with bright determination, confident posture, and an easy grin. Exact hair, eye, and clothing details do not recur strongly enough for a fixed portrait.
