King Phirun

King Phirun is the long-ruling sovereign of the Great Sea, using immense personal image authority to maintain order until he chooses to age toward death. (Chapters 1316, 1418, and 2127)

Biography

A king relinquishes endless rule

King Phirun arrives at Kharon with a huge delegation and a body whose mass makes his status impossible to miss. When a powerful tattooed subordinate demands immediate action against a suspected Zone 1 plot, Phirun silences him through image pressure alone, prioritizing patience over wounded pride. He continues ruling the Great Sea through constant System change, but the unending cycle of fighting and training gradually extinguishes his desire to continue. By the later crisis, he deliberately allows age to claim him, opening a succession gap in a realm built around his permanence. (Chapters 1316, 1418, and 2127)

Appearance and personality

Phirun has an extremely massive body and heavy-lidded eyes. His imposing size contrasts with economical command: he need not raise his voice or glare when focused image pressure can make a two-meter warrior shake and retreat. (Chapters 1316 and 1418)

Abilities and progression

His image carries enough authority to suppress elite subordinates without a physical strike, supporting a reign that has lasted since the System’s beginning. Political durability is his greatest demonstrated power. The later choice to age toward death is a deliberate surrender of that sustained state, not a battlefield defeat, and it exposes how much the Great Sea depends on him. (Chapters 1418 and 2127)
