A life spanning the System age
Delilah appears as Annie's infant, cared for in the domestic quiet that follows Dozer's return. Her importance is generational rather than military: she is remembered as the first child born after the System arrived, growing up entirely inside the reality her elders fought to survive. Near the final crisis she leans against her mother and trembles at emotional fallout she cannot control, embodying what the older fighters are trying to preserve. (Chapters 365, 2324)
