Commander Terith

Commander Terith is a regulation-minded Military High Command officer whose conservative reputation makes his decision to volunteer for a Nether assault especially striking. (Chapters 1073 and 1193)

Biography

Regulation gives way to a fatal assignment

Commander Terith surprises Lady Iellaya by volunteering for an assault on a Nether Gatekeeper, explaining that the mission can discipline insubordinate members of his camp. The choice reveals both adherence to hierarchy and a harsh willingness to treat danger as correction. His image power places him among commanders stronger than ordinary soldiers, but Lord Miln later intervenes under the language of protection. Terith loses consciousness in the aftermath, becoming a warning for Randidly about what Miln’s possession of a “valuable asset” can mean. (Chapters 1073, 1096, and 1193)

Appearance and personality

Terith’s stable physical features are not described closely. His reputation as a conservative stickler for regulations, formal speech, and controlled volunteering define his presence more strongly than coloration or clothing. (Chapter 1073)

Abilities and progression

Terith can project a commander-level image far beyond ordinary frontline power. Randidly compares lesser life-bearing smoke and fire to the greater scale demonstrated by Iellaya and Terith. The exact theme and named Skills are not supplied, and his later incapacitation shows that command rank and image strength do not protect him from Miln’s intervention. (Chapters 1096 and 1193)

Relationships

Lady Iellaya knows him by reputation, Lord Miln accepts his volunteer mission and later “protects” him into unconsciousness, and Randidly reads Terith’s fate as a threat to his own autonomy. (Chapters 1073 and 1193)
