Octavius introduces Captain Quill to Randidly as the commander responsible for clearing remnant Nether forces. Quill studies the Ghosthound with an intense, palpable focus and predicts even the slowest cleanup will take only two days. When that estimate slips by five hours, Randidly confronts the captain directly rather than waiting. The delay matters less than what Randidly learns from Quill’s Clan: repeated protocols have been drilled so deeply that discipline appears embedded in their bones, inspiring changes to Kaan’s military training.
