Primordial Farham Eggshell

The Primordial Farham Eggshell is a rare shell fragment whose remaining Primordial protection gives Lex a brief defense against Dao radiation. (Chapters 2382–2394)

History

A rapidly expiring defense

Lex gathers the shell to obtain an item Pelagor wants, only to learn that the original exchange is no longer necessary. Because the shell's power is steadily draining, he cannot preserve it as a remote reserve. He instead wraps it around his necklace vessel during a desperate ascent through lethal Dao radiation and later attempts to use it in capturing a dangerous flower. (Chapters 2382 and 2393–2395)

Abilities and properties

• Its remaining Primordial quality shields the necklace vessel from otherwise lethal Dao radiation. (Chapters 2393–2394)
• The protective power decays over time, preventing indefinite storage. (Chapter 2382)
• Its defensive use does not eliminate the need for speed, additional shielding, or careful refinement. (Chapters 2393–2395)
