Xeon is a drake celebrity famed for art, crafting, and refining who comes to the Midnight Inn seeking anonymity. The Inn's unpredictability restores his inspiration, and his fascination with a true dragon leads him to join the staff, build its transport systems, and eventually evolve into an Earth Immortal dragon. Biography

An artist escaping celebrity

Xeon arrives mentally exhausted by admirers who constantly demand autographs, jewelry, and equipment. At the Inn he can lounge beside the lake and watch ordinary guests without becoming the center of attention. Sudden transformations of the grounds inspire him precisely because he cannot predict them, while Gerard indulges his playful wish to ride atop a moving golf cart. The vacation gives Xeon both privacy and a creative environment unavailable in his public life. (Chapters 217–224)

Refiner of the Inn

Learning that a true dragon serves the Inn turns relaxation into ambition: Xeon asks for employment and eventually becomes its mechanic. He upgrades Gerard's cart, standardizes racing vehicles, designs luxury transport, modifies silent vertical-takeoff ships, studies foreign machinery, and works with elves on increasingly advanced spirit technology. He also volunteers for Charles's experiments in hopes of evolving beyond a drake. Appearance and personality

Xeon begins as a large, scaly drake whose beast-sized body requires a special recliner and reinforced golf-cart roof. He is famous, expressive, curious, playful, and intensely creative. Anonymity matters more to him than luxury, while contact with real dragons can override his composure entirely. Abilities and cultivation

Xeon is an exceptional refiner and spirit-tech engineer. He upgrades vehicles, optimizes imported ships, reverse-engineers carcasses and machinery, fabricates custom replicas, and integrates cultivation materials with technology. Interaction with the Inn's elves expands his high-tech capability, while Charles's bloodline experiments and dragon resources support his evolution from drake to true dragon and Earth Immortal. Item quality depends on materials, time, and design knowledge; his workload prevents him from serving as a general public armorer, and the narrative does not explain the precise biological mechanism of his successful evolution.
