Sohee

Sohee is an elite witch whose long-casting soul attacks make her a powerful support combatant, and whose arranged marriage to Kenta begins under severe distrust before both choose to work on it. (Chapters 295–306, 816–817)

Biography

Expedition pressure and an uneasy marriage

In Cwenhild's party, Sohee fights from the protected rear because her spells require uninterrupted preparation. She continues casting even while injured, trapping sentient stones in a soul-attacking dome and stripping a Kraven's defensive slime with purple fire, but that concentration also leaves her dependent on defenders such as Lex. Years later she arrives as Kenta Haru's new wife, resentful because he replaced her as heir and had previously been caught flirting with Asami. Velma helps untangle those misunderstandings; Sohee befriends Asami and agrees with Kenta to work on the relationship, converting guarded hostility into a cautious domestic partnership. (Chapters 295–306, 816–825, 955)

Appearance and personality

When channeling, Sohee's hair turns purple, her pupils become lilac, and her eyes can retain a purple glow while spells are readied. She is disciplined enough to cast through injury, but personally cautious and cutting when she feels insecure. Once misunderstandings are cleared, Asami describes her as genuinely nice and capable of warm friendship. (Chapters 295, 297–298, 817)

Abilities and cultivation

Sohee is a witch who combines spiritual and soul energy. Her magic has a pronounced preparation window: she must focus while allies protect her, leaving her vulnerable to interruption and physical attack. Demonstrated spells include a purple dome that both contains targets and assaults their souls, and purple ribbons and flame that burn away a Kraven's slime coating. These effects support a group exceptionally well, but do not eliminate the need for positioning, defenders, or resistance to enemy spirit attacks; no later cultivation stage is stated. (Chapters 295, 298, 305–306)
