Biography

Establishing the Tavern's service

Roan reports for work during the Tavern's chaotic opening and immediately replaces Lex behind the bar. He prepares drinks and food, cares for the traumatized Big Ben, and follows instructions designed to prevent free-drink celebrations from becoming dangerous. His competence lets Lex leave the counter, advertise, hire more staff, and address a murder report, making Roan's quiet service the operational foundation of the new branch. (Chapters 323–327)

Appearance and personality

Roan has a mature, suave manner and dresses with the bearing of a gentleman, an unusual but fitting presence behind a tavern bar. He is composed, obedient, and attentive to vulnerable or intoxicated guests. (Chapters 323–324)
